Francois van Zyl – Wedding Photographer Website

Well it is August and I have compeleted another Site just before Spring. This the time where everyone gets married. Francois said the other day that his busy time starts now. glad I could get his site done in time for the busy season.

This site was a fun project to work on, Me and Francois spent alot of time with the site, fine tuning and tweaking. He likes clean and white colors like myself. The photo’s stand out nicely and the overall feel is just awesome!

This site was once again a project where I used the prophoto backend by Net Rivet. Although this gives you nice templates to work with but I would rather just use the functionality of the system and create my own looks and themes.

Francois van Zyl is a great photographer who has a creative mind. He does Landscapes and other types of photo’s aswell and all of it is just awesome!

An African Bush Escape

Away from noisy people and greed
The bush is where my heart is
Beating with the sounds of the wild
Vast open spaces, looking into forever
Squinting into a baking African sun
Insects buzz joining the birds in song
Chirping cicadas, natures traffic noise
Morning dawns, a gentle breeze sighs
I stretch, look over the plain, no rush
For me time to absorb the stillness

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge – Sabi Sand

This was the first trip I went on with Africa Direct Owners, Tanya Kotze and Mike Karantonis. They made this trip extra special by adding Birding to the experience and Introducing me to Birding.

The weather was great, slightly cold but great. The Lodge was great, they go out of their way to make you feel special and they make sure you enjoy your stay.I have no words to describe the food, it was really great tasting and they have a wide variety of food to cater for everyone taste.

The game viewing was good, had everything from Rhino to Close-ups of Lions. Had a great time with the Birding ( even though I am a beginner at it ).

Another Great trip arranged by the Africa Direct Team.
